We were having a great conversation the other day in a Supervised Coach class around the question: "do I need to know my clients' topic prior to a coaching session?" Sometimes clients may send along an email advising their coach about what they want coaching on. Some coaches send out a pre-coaching form asking for this as well. Or, we may not be aware of the topic until we get on the phone.
