The coaching profession is a fairly new profession. With any new profession it is really important to set standards. At the start of 2001 we decided that providing a coach training program that was accredited was critical to the success of the profession. When you complete your training at ICA you receive a certificate from ICA along with the recognition that you have completed a course that was accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF have been responsible for setting the standards for coaching.
To become accredited means we had to meet many requirements to ensure we were achieving the standards of coaching in our training. At ICA we feel it is important to ensure that our program is rigorous and the result is that we have trained the best coaches around the world. At ICA you will really learn how to coach and what it is like to be coached.
So to choose our program means you value high standards of training, the importance of being certified and you want to know how coaching is occuring all around the world.
At ICA we offer you the Certified Professional Coach Training Program (CPCP). This is our top of the range, accredited program. On completion of this program you will be certified as one of our professional coaches. We have had many trainers listen to our coaches, some trainers who trained at other schools. All trainers conclude that people who train at ICA are the best coaches they have ever heard. So if you want to be the best coach you can be then the CPCP is the right program for you.
We also offer the Associate Certified Coach Training Program (ACCP). This program is a great start to understanding coaching. If you are wanting to see what coaching is all about then this is the course for you. If you decide that you want to move up to the CPCP then this is also possible.
