Having just finished by degree in Psychology and Philosophy, I was looking for a profession that incorporated the best of these qualifications in a practical and positive way. The first I heard of coaching was in a corporate sense. After some internet research I found the ICA. I was phoned soon after filling in my details for the call and had a wonderful conversation with a coach who answered all my questions. I knew then that coaching was for me and I would find a way to do the ICA course. A couple of months later I jumped on board as soon as I could. The ICA proved to be the best thing for my lifestyle, personality and life goals.
How are you using coaching to make a difference?:
My passion is to make a positive difference to the lives of others. This is one of the primary goals of the ICA so it was easy for me to align myself with the course. Since starting the course my life has noticeably improved in quality and purpose. People around me have noticed this change and it has often motivated them into achieving things. Through the support I receive from ICA coaches, I have been able to support my clients and build up my business.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at ICA?:
The ICA has taught me the value of communicating my viewpoint. I have gained confidence and reassurance for achieving my personal goals. I have been able to network with great people and learn new perspectives. There has been so much new information that I am constantly experiencing something fresh and mentally stimulating. I have learned that I am really lucky to have this opportunity so I appreciate it as often as I can.
